Job Responsibilities:

  • Prior PARTS MANAGEMENT experience working with Heavy and Light Construction Equipment, Forklifts - Material Handling Equipment, Trucks, or any similar type of parts operation.
  • Oversee daily operations of the parts department monitor customer service levels
  • Manage the financial performance of the parts department.
  • Review of P&L statements with management monthly
  • Recruitment and hiring of department staff
  • Manage inventories located at the branch office, in parts vans, and on customer consignment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings with parts personnel to coordinate day-to-day activities.
  • Set and review parts inventory levels.
  • Review and place weekly stock orders
  • Monitor overstocked and understocked parts. Assist with periodic vendor returns of overstocked items
  •  Accounts payable - review,approve, and code vendor invoices.
  • Conduct and participate in parts strategy meetings. Assist with new account aquisition strategy.
  • Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers at end user locations. Address customer service issues.
  • Take daily parts counter calls, assist counter staff with customer support and order processing 
  • Select, train, develop, and counsel direct reports.
