Title: Service Writer
Department: Service
Location: Macedonia (MON-FRI 7:30 A.M.-4 P.M.)
Terms: Full-Time/In-Office
Reports to: Service/Parts Operations Manager
Job Objective:
To prepare written estimates to customers for the parts and labor necessary to repair equipment
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with service and parts department to obtain all necessary information for an accurate estimate
- Compute the cost of replacement parts and labor to restore equipment in good working order
- Provide a professional and accurate written estimate for all customer repairs
- Collect PO’s, Credit card information or other billing information before repairs are made
- Review and follow up on all quotes, addressing any customer concerns
- Coordinate timely repairs with the customer, in coordination with all necessary internal departments
- Communicate daily with customers, and all internal personnel to meet the needs of the customer and follow the repair from quote creation until invoicing
- Expedite repairs based on customer needs
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, and e-mail
- Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience
- Communicate with Sales department on new business opportunities
- Coordinate transportation & rentals with customers, internal departments & third party vendors
- Follow up on unapproved quotes
- Any other assigned duties

Education:
·High School Diploma or higher
