Summary
Provide field support in all areas of warranty for operations.
Essential Functions
- Partner with service departments on Warranty work orders to maximize claim effectiveness.
- Utilize warranty knowledge to validate repairs are warrantable.
- Track diagnostic time and communicate overages.
- Review reports and portal responses from OEMs and respond with branch collaboration.
- Serves as a liaison between branch operations and OEM manufactures to resolve issues related to warranty work orders and policy disputes.
- Collaborate with Training department to develop and implement Warranty Policies and Procedures training for branch customers and technicians. Conduct trainings frequently to ensure team is up to date on best practices.
- Monitor and track recovery of warranty invoices (claimed vs. paid). Communicate any variances with branch management and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Investigate outstanding claim invoices and collaborate with OEM partners to resolve issues.
- Manage process for warranty parts return when requested by OEM partners.
- Tracks and reports Warranty quality metrics for LiftOne (Tech Lost Time, Lost Revenue, Late Fees, Rescinded Claims, etc).
- Analyze warranty claims and report trends in warranty work orders such as frequency in trucks, parts, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree from two-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years material handling industry experience (required)
- 2+ years warranty experience (preferred)
- 2+ years mechanical problem solving experience (preferred)
- 30% travel expected, valid drivers license
- Computer Skills: Experience with Windows based programs, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), SAP, ServiceMax, Power BI
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as it relates to the function.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
