Staff Accountant
Eastern Lift Truck Co., Inc. (ELTC) is seeking a Staff Accountant to be part of our Finance and Accounting team. This role is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a broad range of accounting and financial areas and will be excellent for a motivated individual seeking a company with opportunity for advancement.
Main Duties:
The Staff Accountant will have significant responsibilities across the full spectrum of accounting and finance including the following areas:
• Maintaining the general ledger structure for branch and corporate accounts
• Preparing journal entries
• Preparing general ledger reconciliations
• Managing daily banking and cash flow analysis
• Assisting in strategic projects
• Performing financial analysis
• Assisting the Controller with continuous improvement projects in the Accounting & Finance Dept.
• Handling special projects as assigned by Controller
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Minimum 2-3 years of G/L and accounting experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail a must
• Must be extremely proficient in Excel
• Ability to learn and work with the accounting side of the Company's business management system
• Experience in the Material Handling or other mobile equipment industry a plus
