PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position will be expected to maintain a complete working knowledge of all CAT marketing programs and their applications. It will be responsible for properly reconciling and claiming all applied discount and marketing programs for credit and ensuring that those programs are correctly loaded into GPAX, maintaining data integrity.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

  • Identify and enter new programs into GPAX and validate existing programs in accordance to CAT program guidelines
  • Validate and maintain data integrity of PPC code file
  • Regularly review program guidelines and incentives
  • Become a primary point of contact within Gregory Poole for Marketing program info
  • Process claims against CAT for Marketing programs weekly
  • Ensure Gregory Pool realizes full credit for claims submitted
  • Maintain regular touchpoints with PSRs and service leads to resolve questions and share opportunities for additional Marketing Program utilization
  • Regularly report out on the current state of Marketing Program Claims
  • Works alongside parts and service teams to apply marketing programs to customer orders
  • Pulls applied discounts from the data warehouse and identifies lines without marketing program, finds and applies appropriate program
  • Submits completed rebate claims and reviews for successful processing
  • Assists in other areas of Inventory Control when applicable
  • Works with Accounts Payables on resolving Caterpillar E-Invoicing discrepancies as well as works with the branches on current stocking levels

 

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

 

Education:

 

Four-year college degree in a related field with two years of inventory analysis experience or an associate’s degree in a related field with four years of related experience or a high school graduate with six years of computerized inventory experience.

Physical:

The successful candidate should be capable of meeting the physical demands associated with office work. This includes the ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods. This role may involve occasional lifting and carrying items, such as office supplies or equipment.

 

Other: 

Needs advanced skills with computerized business systems. Proficiency in using computers and common office software applications is essential.  Must have good customer service skills.
